FUNDING STRATEGY

The TPG orphanage home is always receptive to vision helpers/partners/supporters who desire to make a financial contribution towards the upkeep of the children and the running of the orphanage home either on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis or a one-time basis.

We also appreciate the donation of non-monetary but essential items like food, clothing, educational aids, recreational materials, etc., all of which go a long way towards the upkeep of the orphans. Likewise, there is the opportunity to take up the maintenance of a child by providing the finances needed for the feeding, clothing and education of that child.

SIRITUAL STRATEGY

The TPG Orphanage is affiliated with the local Redeemed Christian Church of God (Jesus Castle) in Oluyole Estate in Ibadan (located less than 300 meters from the home). We recognize the importance of a sound spiritual upbringing and pastoral care, and we take care to train up the children in our home in the ways of the Lord. We go by the saying, “train up a child in the way he/she should go, and when he/she is old, he/she will not depart from it.”

Prayers

When it comes to running an orphanage home, the importance of prayers cannot be overstated. The pastoral team from the RCCG delegates prayer teams, Sunday school teachers and other church workers to come and pray for the children at the home. Other ministries such as the Fountain of Power Chapel, Christ Alive Ministries, Mountain of Fire & Miracles (MFM), Victory Tabernacle, and several missionaries who visit the home provide additional prayer support.

Bible Study

A very strong emphasis is placed on the Word of God with respect to the upbringing of the children in our orphanage home. The matron and staff have daily devotional periods with the children in the mornings and evenings, and we use this period to teach the children God’s word. We also receive additional support and materials from the Bible Club who send their representatives to the home on a weekly basis to educate the children on biblical principles and teachings.

RECREATION STRATEGY

One of our goals at TPG Orphanage is to help the orphans live a life that is as productive and exciting as possible. In view of that, we have set up a variety of vocational training and extra-curricular activities which will further help to develop the kids and keep them gainfully employed. We also plan to provide access to other extra-curricular activities such as play therapy and dance workshops. We are always sensitive to the needs of the children, and therefore we base our decisions and actions on what they require at any point in time, and we always act in their best interests.
