The TPG Orphanage has had some volunteers in form of post graduate students. These students were undertaking various programmes in the University of Ibadan and were attached to the orphanage for a period of 3 to 6 months as part of their curriculum in humanitarian studies.
Some members of the public and senior professionals have also volunteered for involvement in the day-to-day care taking of the children and running of the orphanage home.
We value our volunteers so much. We believe they are very special people, and if you are reading this chance are that you are about to become a volunteer, and so we see you as a very special person too.
The desire to help others without thinking of a reward, the ability to harness and put your existing skills to use, the determination to try new areas of activity and, most importantly, the belief that you can make a real, tangible difference in the life of an orphan is what makes you special. The fact is that at the TPG Orphanage, every volunteer on our team who helps an orphan in any way is making that orphan’s life easier and better and will be abundantly blessed by God.
